Soma Çimento Madencilik Beton Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.("Soma Çimento" or "Data Controller") values the protection of your personal data, and therefore, we expect you to show the same level of sensitivity. For this reason, it is very important for us that you read this document, which explains in detail which personal data we use and for what purposes. It is essential that you demonstrate a clear understanding of the obligations of Soma Çimento as the "Data Controller" regarding the administrative and technical security of these data.

 

Why am I reading this text?

 

Article 10 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698, which came into effect on April 7, 2016, requires that individuals whose personal data is processed (referred to as "data subjects" in the KVKK) be informed by the "Data Controller" about the use of their data. As the Data Controller , we have to prove that you, our employee candidate, have been informed about the personal data we will process.

 

What personal data is collected and through which methods is it obtained?

 

As Soma Çimento,we obtain your name, surname, e-mail address, phone number, resume document and explanations and legal approvals from the Working in Soma Çimento tab of our website by digital means (expressed as an automatic method in the LPPD ), provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms, in order to fulfill our legally valid interests.

 

In this context, taking into account the information transmitted with resumes, the following data are processed;

 

''Your name and surname, Nationality information, Year of birth, Signature, Name and surname of your reference person* "in the Identity Data category,

 

"Your home address, phone number, e-mail address and your Reference person's * e-mail address and phone number to be specified only in the Contact Data category",

 

In the Personal Data category, "Your date of deferral or discharge within the scope of your military service information, the content of your cover letters and letters of intent, your job competence, the wage you request and the date you can start work, whether you have a travel obstacle",

 

In the Professional Experience Data category, "Your education level, Your graduated school information, Your school start and end year information, Your diploma grade, Your foreign language knowledge, Information about your foreign language level, Your work experiences (Company name, Job description and location, Date of entry and departure from the company, Working times and type, Country of employment), Seminars and courses you have attended (Program name, Date, Duration, Certificate/course issuer, Certificate/course result information), Information on professional skills, Scholarships and achievements you have received in education and business life, Information about the clubs you are a member of and the institution where your reference person* works, position information",

 

In the Visual and Auditory Records Data category, your ''photo''.

 

Important note: * If you specify one or more persons as your reference, you agree that you have informed the relevant person (s) that your reference person (s) may be contacted in order to obtain information about you and that their personal data will be processed for this purpose.

 

* The information provided has been prepared considering the broadest details you can present, including your resume. If you provide additional information, it will be destroyed.

You are kindly requested not to share your personal and/or sensitive personal data that requires explicit consent, unless specifically requested from you and explicit consent has been obtained, within the scope of your resume and interview processes.

 

If you share personal and/or sensitive personal data that requires explicit consent within the content of your resume and interview processes, it will be assumed that you consent to the processing of the relevant data for the purpose of making an objective assessment related to employment processes.

 

For what purpose are the personal data obtained used?

 

As Soma Çimento in order to fulfill our legally valid interests, it is necessary for the processing to be mandatory, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms.

 

·      Your personal data in the categories of identity, personal details, communication, visual records, and professional experience will be processed for the following purposes:

 

o   To make an objective assessment for the position requiring employment,

o   To meet the recruitment requirements,

o   To plan human resources processes,

o   To create candidate lists,

o   To gain insight into your competencies and experience,

o   To facilitate communications related to the recruitment process,

o   To evaluate your suitability for the unit where employment is planned.

 

These purposes are the only reasons for processing, and your data will never be used for any other purpose.

 

Are personal data transferred to others?

 

Yes, in summary, we may have to transfer personal data to our business partners, official institutions, auditors, lawyers, and financial advisors. However, we only transfer for specific purposes and with your knowledge. Therefore,your personal data may be transferred to the following;

 

· Lawyers, auditors and tax consultants in order to carry out our business processes in accordance with the legislation and to follow up and carry out legal affairs,

· Other official institutions such as regulatory and supervisory institutions, courts and enforcement offices in order to provide information to authorized institutions and organizations,

Your attorneys and representatives authorized by you for the purpose of fulfilling your requests.

 

What rights does the KVKK grant me?

 

The KVKK grants you several rights to ensure control over your personal data, including but not limited to: (a) learning whether your personal data is being processed; (b) requesting information if it has been processed; (c) learning the purpose of processing and whether it is being used in accordance with that purpose; (d) knowing the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred, both domestically and internationally; (e) requesting the correction of your personal data if it is incomplete or inaccurate; (f) requesting the deletion or destruction of your personal data. You can find all these rights and details in Article 11 of the KVKK.

 

How can I exercise my rights?                                                                                            

 

If you want to exercise the specified rights, you can submit your requests to us in writing (for example, by means of a warning letter or registered letter with return receipt) or by using your registered electronic mail (REM) address, secure electronic signature, mobile signature or your e-mail address that you have previously notified us and registered in our system .
